Yesterday Jon and I grabbed a bite at El Pescador Fish Market, home of delicious fish sandwiches. I’m a foodie-amateur when it comes to sandwiched fillets (can’t say I’ve eaten a lot of ‘em in my time), but mine was pretty bomb — albeit I smelled like onions and seafood for the better part of the day.

Later we strolled around the very picturesque downtown La Jolla and stumbled across a little shop by Coast Blvd. where you could take a stairway down to a sea cave for $4.

I know I bitch and moan about San Diego all the time — I’m a city girl through and through — but especially in my last year here, I’m trying not to take the little things for granted. The little things being that vast expanse of ocean that’s just a 10-minute drive away.

Following Thursday night’s #TWUFAIL, photographic documentation of my life from now on will arrive in grainy, phone-pic resolution. Sincere apologies. :)
